Obituary of Marion Valeria MacDonald
MacDONALD- Marion Valeria (nee Quinn) of Port Colborne and formerly of Burlington passed away peacefully at Northland Pointe on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of 4 years of the late Domenic Joseph d’Entremont (1953) and beloved wife of 32 years of the late Daniel Aeneas MacDonald (1991), loving mother of Catherine (Chris) Voll of Kitchener, Dianne (Ernest) Frey of Port Colborne, dear grandmother of Danielle Allen (Mitch Avis), Jennifer Allen, Erika Frey, Alexis Frey and Phillip Frey. Marion is also survived by her dear brother Joey Quinn of Claresholm, Alberta and sisters-in-law Alice MacDonald and Frances MacDonald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion was also predeceased by her son-in-law Ken Allen, her sister Rose MacLeod and her brothers Johnny, Robert and Gerome Quinn. Born in Cardigan, P.E.I., Marion lived much of her life in Burlington until moving to Port Colborne in 1993 where she has resided since that time. The MacDonald family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence Street on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon in the Davidson Chapel. Private Rite of Committal will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Northland Pointe Auxiliary.
